TimeClockPro Multi-Workstation Editions
IMPORTANT: Read this page thoroughly before making your purchase.
You must also purchase or currently own FileMaker Pro 6 software (which is not included with your purchase of Multi-Workstation Editions of TimeClockPro) to be able to use TimeClockPro on networked multiple workstations. FileMaker Pro is the data base engine that runs TimeClockPro. The Single Workstation Editions listed on the previous page include a runtime version of FileMaker Pro; however, because the runtime version of FileMaker Pro does not support peer to peer or host to client networking, you must have the actual FileMaker Pro application on every computer you want to use as a clock in/out station. (FileMaker Pro 6 for Windows and Macs is available at www.hardcoremac.com. You can also Google for other sources as well.) You must have a valid licensed copy of FileMaker Pro 6 for each workstation as each copy of FileMaker Pro 6 has it's own serial number.) Read more below and on pages 14 and 15 of the User's Guide. We have TimeClockPro 3 files that work with FileMaker Pro 9, the newest version of FileMaker Pro. Email us for additional information.
Multi-Workstation Editions of TimeClockPro are hosted on one computer, and then accessed simultaneously from any and multiple (client) computers on your network.
Because TimeClockPro is
cross-platform, it operates on networks mixed with PCs and Macs. The TimeClockPro
files for all platforms are identical and can be hosted on a computer running
either operating system. However, the TimeClockPro installer is platform specific,
so take that into account when you make your purchase. You can install TimeClockPro
on one platform and move the TimeClockPro files to a computer running the
other operating system at any time. When you make your purchase, simply select
the operating system on which you initially intend
to install it.

must own or purchase and install FileMaker Pro Server 5 or 6 software on the
computer hosting TimeClockPro.
